Staten Island Job Fair, Networking Opportunity Slated For Nov. 29
Staten Island, N.Y. -- Victory State Bank is helping to spread the word about an upcoming attraction for business people and job seekers: The Staten Island Job Fair and Networking Event.
The free gathering, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 29, is presented by the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Staten Island, OU (Orthodox Union) Job Board and the F.E.G.S Health & Human Services System, with cooperation from the office of Congressman Michael Grimm.
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the College of Staten Island ,which provides free business counseling, will be participating in the event.
The fair will be held at the JCC’s Seaview site: 1466 Manor Road.
Job seekers are advised to polish up their resumes, and bring copies and a USB drive. Potential applicants will have an opportunity to meet employers with current job opportunities, fine-tune their job pitch and acquire job-hunting strategies.
