WHAT: “Stop Drowning Islanders and Businesses in Tolls” rally
WHO: The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, along with local businesses and residents, will protest against consistent bridge-toll hikes imposed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
WHY: Climbing tolls are an economic strain for commuters and a destructive burden for Staten Island businesses

§ $12 at the Bayonne and Goethals bridges, and Outerbridge Crossing
§ $13 at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge
